Everybody now seems eager to play on the mini notebook area. This is fairly understandable since the huge rise of demand of this type of notebook. As far as I know, Apple is the only company who hasn’t launches any mini notebook. Everyone else does compete their mini notebook, including Hewlett Packard.
HP Mini 110-1030NR 10.1-Inch Netbook is the HP newest mini notebook with price tag less than $350. Package in a black swirl imprint case, this baby has a tougher but majestic look. Its light weight and small size is ideal for mobile computing. The 10.1″ Diagonal SD LED Anti-glare Widescreen Display is fabulous, better than the Acer one.
Another plus for this mini notebook is the HP Syncables application. Syncables app syncs files, photos and videos easily with your primary notebook or desktop PC whenever connected to the same network. After initial Syncable setup, the file updates will occur in the background for a truly seamless experience.
The 6-cell battery is capable to power the unit for more than 5 hours, quite an average for a mini notebook class. However, the 6-cell battery is a bit bulky. It gives extra thickness on the rear back, and although it will give you a more ergonomic keyboard feeling and a firmer grip when you carry it, it may not fit properly on normal mini notebook sleeves.
Some features of HP Mini 110-1030NR 10.1-Inch are 1.60 GHz Intel Atom Processor N270, 1 GB DDR2 RAM (1 Dimm) (1 GB Maximum), 160GB (5400RPM) Hard Drive (SATA), Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, 10.1 inch Diagonal SD LED Anti-glare Widescreen Display (1024×576), 6 Cell Battery, Genuine Windows XP Home edition with Service Pack 3.
Product dimension is 6.8 x 10.3 x 1.3 inches and weighs 2.9 pounds.
