This LCD has a fast 5 ms response time, which is a good point. For gamers or movie enthusiasts, a fast response time means anything. A bunch of amazing features is nothing if the response time is too big, since it is the nature of LCD type monitor to have a slow one. Faster response time means less video tearing and faster black to black. Even if you have an amazing dynamic contrast ratio, it will mean nothing if it response slowly.
The 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution with an 16:9 aspect ratio is superb to watch BluRay movies. No annoying black bars anymore. The frame is a glossy black piano colored. It looks very elegant although some people considered it to easily catch fingerprint. The solution is simple: Don’t touch it. Control the finger, gentleman. Some people also reported a problem in putting the base on, I think this is just a minor one maybe because of improper handling during the transport. Anyhow, you can always replace it on Amazon.
