HP 2710m Monitor has a wide viewing angle of 170° horizontal and 160° vertical, very useful to be placed anywhere. It uses the Wide Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) active matrix technology and has a brightness of 400cd/m2. That’s equal to 400 candles light in a square meter. It also produce a wonderful color and contrast that you will think the image is real.
For the user interface, HP provides access to manually control the Brightness, Contrast, Image Control, Color, Management, Information, Factory Reset, Exit, Languages and Switch Video Input. Despite its wide screen, the monitor itself is very slim and come with a weight of only 9.6 kg. HP provides a limited one-year parts and repair labour for this product.

With a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels @ 60Hz, HP 2710m is more than sufficient for general daily work or for gaming purpose. The display is Full HD (High Definition) ready and horsed by the HP BrightView technology for sharper images, less glare and reduced blur.
With a power consumption 135 watts maximum on operating mode and 2 watts max in standby mode, a typical on its size, the monitor may reduce your electrical bill if you can adjust your PC to goes to standby whenever you don’t need it. Instead of going to screen saver, going to standby mode is a lot more beneficial as you will also reduce the processor and fan burden, which mean less heat and less noise, in addition to saving the power. This LCD monitor is also very easy to install as it is plug and play ready, however, if you ever need to get the driver, you can get it from the HP website.
