Powered by the latest 2.1 GHz Intel Pentium T4300 dual-core processor, Toshiba L505-S5993 offers a magnificent multitasking environment. Working on several programs is no longer a problem. You can work on your spreadsheet or word document all while listening to your favorite mp3 and running a virus scan on the background. All of this can be processed easily by the powerful processor.
To accommodate the multitasking environment, the laptop is installed with 4 GB 800 MHz RAM which is upgradeable to a max of 8 GB. The RAM’s big capacity is needed to store multiple running programs and also to accommodate the advance video card. This Toshiba notebook uses an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD with up to 1750 MB of dynamically shared memory allocated by the system. Connectivity
This Toshiba L505 series already support the new Draft N Wifi standard while also maintaining backward compatibility to 802.11B/G standard. The new N standard will gives you five times the performance and twice the wireless range of the older version. For the wired connectivity, this laptop is equipped with a fast Ethernet port.
For the human interface, the L505-S5993 is equipped with 3 USB 2.0 ports for connecting a wide range of peripherals–from external hard drive to digital cameras and MP3 players.
